Urticaria is itchy rashes that develop on your skin that eventually spread across other areas. The size of Urticaria varies from person to person.
Urticaria, also known as hives are itchy rashes developed suddenly on your skin. Urticaria are swellings that last for more than six weeks and goes by its own sometimes. However, it returns often over months or years. If you notice sudden rashes on your skin, it may not be due to any bug bites. It could be hives. Studies say that around 20 % of the people across the globe are prone to this condition and they get affected by this at some point in their life.
Hives are mostly caused by some food, especially seafood or some nuts. Other causes include medications such as antibiotics, latex, through blood transfusions, bacterial infections viral infections, pollen and more.
