Rosacea is a chronic skin disease that causes blushing and flushing on your face. Small, pus-filled bumps are also developed as a result of rosacea.
Rosacea is a common skin condition that mostly affects your face where it looks like you are blushing and also get bumps like acne. It is a chronic skin disease that most of the people face today. However, the actual cause of rosacea is unknown and doctors across the globe often find ways to treat this skin condition by curtailing its symptoms.
There are four subtypes of rosacea and each subtypes carry its own symptoms. The subtypes include
Subtype One
Also known as Erythematotelangiectatic Rosacea (ETR), this subtype holds symptoms like facial redness, blushing, and visible blood vessels.
Subtype Two
This subtype is known as papulopustular (or acne) rosacea which is related to acne-like breakouts. A chronic type of rosacea, this one mostly affects middle-aged women.
Subtype Three
This is a rare form of rosacea and is known as rhinophyma. The symptoms of this subtype include thickening of the skin on your nose. Men are more prone to get affected by this type.
Subtype Four
It is known as ocular rosacea. Unlike other types, the symptoms of this type are centered on the eye area. If you are affected with rosacea, the symptoms will last for weeks or over a month. The symptoms will go away by its own and then return.

• Eating chocolate, tomatoes, and citrus
• Coffee or Tea
• Bacterial Infection
Since a chronic skin problem, rosacea cannot be cured. However, you can control the symptoms by doing certain things. Use cleansers and water-based quality skin care products along with moisturizers and facial creams. Keep your skin away from products that contain alcohol, menthol and other exfoliating agents.
